• Case information: wallet owner name, relationship, approximate wallet creation date, wallet type
• Password recovery information: personal tokens, password habits, known fragments submitted through the intake form
• Device information: serial numbers, make and model of submitted devices

Information collected automatically

• Basic website analytics: pages visited, time on site, referring URL, browser type. Collected only if analytics are enabled.
• No cookies beyond session cookies are set. No tracking pixels. No advertising technology.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to:

• Assess whether Forensica's services are appropriate for your situation
• Conduct the digital asset investigation or recovery engagement you have engaged us for
• Communicate with you about your engagement
• Deliver findings reports and engagement documentation
• Comply with applicable legal requirements

We do not sell, rent, license, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. We do not use your information to train machine learning models or artificial intelligence systems.

3. Password Recovery Information

Information submitted through the password recovery intake form — including personal tokens, known passwords from other accounts, and password habit descriptions — is treated with the highest level of confidentiality. This information is:

• Used only to build the targeted password recovery approach for your specific engagement
• Never shared with any third party under any circumstances
• Stored in encrypted form during the engagement
• Permanently and securely destroyed on engagement close

4. Data Retention

• Engagement records (scope, fees, findings reports): retained for five years
• Password recovery intake data: destroyed on engagement close
• Device forensic images and working copies: destroyed on engagement close
• Private keys and wallet credentials: never retained beyond the moment access is delivered to you
• Contact form submissions: retained for six months, then deleted

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted storage for all sensitive engagement data, air-gapped handling of all wallet credentials and private keys, and secure destruction of all digital copies on case close. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Third-Party Services

• Formspree: processes form submissions from the website and intake form. Subject to their privacy policy.
• Google Fonts: fonts loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log font requests per their privacy policy.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising technology on this website.

7. California Residents (CCPA)
